GE to build wind farm in Jordan

JORDAN: GE will make its debut in the Middle Eastern country by providing 28 turbines for a 100MW project. GE, along with consortium partner, construction engineers Elecnor, will also build the site under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract.

It will supply its 3.6-137 machines for developer Mass Energy Group Holding’s Mass Wind project in the Tafilah region on the western border with Israel. Mass Wind is due to be online by the end of 2019.
